I am very interested in learning more about Meditech and its applications. Is their a manual on Meditech software applications, or some type of website with examples of applications, their usage and appearance? Is their a practice sample or education website with meditech features that I can review? Or better still is their any training available outside of that offered in a medical facility that one can participate in.

I am an aspiring medical administrator that is noticing that some facility are asking for prior knowledge or training in meditech applications in their job advertising. This is great for your company but not so great for someone like myself who has all the proper credentials except meditech experience.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance.

I too am very interested to find out where I may obtain or purchase a manual on the Meditech software application. Since I am seeking to work in the medical environment and would like to have this education/experience in order to increase my chances of succeeding in this endeavor. I have many years working with computers. Started out as a software developer for 8 years. I have had many years since then as an applications user of many working with financials and consumers. I am a new nurse in Florida, Largo Medical Center and am trying to learn the Meditech system.. I am very interested in finding out if their is a manual I can purchase or a site where I can purchase this information?? I am about to be sent w/14 other people from my hospital to learn the MEDITECH system to help our Professional disciplines be part of the MEDITECH HIS. I am one of the RN’s selected to work on the Nursing Department. A few years ago, I was one of the instructors who learned the initial MEDITECH POC/Order Entry phase and taught it to my hospitals Nursing staff. Now, I am being askedto go to the MEDITECH Center in Cantor, MA with my other 14 colleagues to learn thr system from the ground up. I will be leaving for Cantor,MA on June 7,2010. Is there a Manuel I can purhased to assist me in familiarizing myself with some of the initial learning phase of my training. It would be very much appreciated if there is something I can read before I go to Cantor, and be ahead and familiarized with my training. Thank you very much for your time and attention to my need at this thime. But the way, your article was excellent in knowing a bit about the MEDITECH Corp.

I am trying to learn the meditech system as I was wondering if you can either you can buy or download a manual. I am a new clerk and need to learn the system. Would anyone out there have some suggestions as to where I can go for help. Or maybe there is someone that can offer emailing copies of the manual.

I would love more information on meditech. Is there a class to take or a handbook to use as a refresher as I have not used it in awhile? Any ideas would be appreciated. I do love the system it worked well at each facility I used it in.
